Vela is a private social travel club. Membership is completely free to apply for, and it doesn't commit you to anything. Being a member simply means you have access to book Vela's curated group trips — including our inaugural trip to Lisbon and Porto — as they become available. No subscription. No recurring fees. No pressure to book a trip the moment you're accepted.

Our team reviews every application personally. You'll hear back within a few days.

You're In
If accepted, you're officially a Vela member — with access to book any current or future trip, whenever you're ready.

Book When You're Ready
Trips are available to members, and members only. Spots are limited — when you see one you want, it's yours to claim.
Before You Apply
- Does applying cost anything?
- Nothing. It's completely free to apply and become a member.
- Am I committing to a trip by applying?
- Not at all. Membership just gives you access to book — whenever, and if, you choose to.
- Can I apply with a friend?
- Absolutely. Apply separately, and let us know you'd like to be considered together.
- How much do trips cost?
- Full pricing and trip details are shared with members once you're accepted — so you'll see exactly what's included before you ever have to decide.
- Is there an age requirement?
- Yes — Vela is open to members 18 and older.
